FAQ 8: How much does it cost to hire you for a project?
|
There
are lots of variables to consider when pricing projects for prospective
clients.
With
every project, I estimate how much of time it will take me to complete. Then submit a proposal with a cost estimate.
This lets you know what to expect and eliminates
surprises.
If the project is not clearly defined or is recurring
in nature — I may quote an hourly rate. This is done on a case-by-case basis only.
Project
fees are based on
several factors like…
- Whether it's an online or offline project...
- Does the project require a web content analysis
- What type of copy do you need written…
- What's the nature of
the product or service being marketed…
- What type of response are you expecting like.. a name or contact to call upon... or an order or sale
- Whether or
not there’s any existing materials to work from, and so on.
Plus, factoring
in any value that I bring to the
table also contributes to the fees.
I research deeper into the product or service and into
your targeted audiences... examining your competitive position and so
on... more than most other web content analyst and copywriters. So my fees reflect the expertise I
provide my clients.
After the fee arrangements have been
established, I focus my energy doing whatever's required to get
the assignment just right. And get it to you on or before the
deadline.
